World Link loses case, has to pay Rs 2 billion tax to government

KATHMANDU: An internet service provider, World Link’s legal attempt to evade billions of tax money has become unsuccessful.

The Supreme Court has scrapped all the eight writs filed by the World Link.

The World Link has not paid Rs 2 billion tax money to the government.

The company moved the apex court to not pay the tax amount.

A division bench of Justices Hari Prasad Phuyal and Nahakul Subedi scrapped all the writs rejecting the World Link’s claim.
