Prohibitory order issued in Harinagar and Dewangunj of Sunsari

BIRATNAGAR: The Local Administration has issued a prohibitory order in Harinagar Rural Municipality and ward 1 and 7 of Dewangunj Rural Municipality, Sunsari.

The order will be effective from 12 pm today.

The two communities had clashed following a fight at the Bal Krishna Higher Secondary School in Harinagar Rural Municipality-1 during the SEE exam yesterday.

CDO Bedraj Phuyal said that order was issued to avoid any untoward incident.

Local Jeeva Mehta was assaulted on Thursday.

The two communities had clashed after the incident, the District Police Office, Sunsari said.

Phuyal said that the situation is now under control.
