NC decides to field Abhisekh Singh as Bajhang by-election candidate

KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress has decided to field Abhisekh Singh as its candidate for the by-election in Bajhang.

A meeting of the Parliamentary Board held at the party President Sher Bahadur Deuba’s residence in Budhanilkantha made the decision to this effect.

A Central Work Execution Committee meeting to be held this evening will take a formation decision on Singh.

Abhisekh is the son of late Congress lawmaker Prithvi Bahadur Singh.

The by-election is going to be held in Bajhang after the demise of Singh, who was also the Law Minister in Sudurpaschim Province.
