Man commits suicide after murdering wife in Morang

BIRATNAGAR: A man committed suicide after murdering wife in Belbari of Morang on Tuesday.

Bam Bahadur Limbu (60) murdered his wife Gita Limbu (45) by attacking with a ‘dau’ (sharp weapon) DSP Ranjan Kumar Dahal, spokesperson at the District Police Office, Taplejung said.

Police said that Gita died on the spot.

After murdering wife, Bam committed suicide by slitting his throat by using the same weapon, according to a preliminary investigation.

Police recovered Bam Bahadur in an injured state.

He breathed his last during the course of treatment at the Nobel Hospital in Biratnagar, police said.

Police said that they are looking into the case.
