Police open fire to nab two professional criminals in Sarlahi

JANAKPURDHAM: Police have arrested two persons involved in various criminal activities in Sarlahi.

Police on Monday night nabbed Indian national Jitendra Raut and another person whose identity is yet to be ascertained.

Police opened fire when they tried to escape while being taken to the District Police Office.

Raut is injured in the police firing. He is being treated at the Malangawa-based Provincial Hospital.

Police said that both the arrestees are professional criminals and involved in a dozen criminal activities in Nepal and India.

They will be made public amidst a press conference, said police.
