Money transfer robbed in Rautahat, three Indian nationals arrested

KATHMANDU: A group of unidentified persons carrying a pistol robbed a money transfer in Rautahat on Friday.

They robbed Porahi-9-based Shiva Money Transfer in Rauthat after shooting owner Nitesh Sah (26).

Sah, who received a bullet injury on his temple, has been taken to the Neuro Hospital in Birgunj for treatment.

Police have taken three Indian citizens on suspicion of involvement in the looting.

Police said that the robbers had come on an Apache bike bearing Indian registration number plate.

SP Mahendra Shrestha of Rautahat said that the three persons who came from India robbed the money transfer after opening fire.

According to him, a pistol and a round of bullet were recovered from the incident site.

Police said that they are looking into the case.
