Three killed, one injured as lorry overturns in Morang

MORANG: Three persons died when a lorry overturned at Pragati Tole in Budhiganga Rural Municipality-4, Morang district on Friday.

According to DSP Ranjan Kumar Dahal at the District Police Office, Morang, the lorry with the Indian registration number plate R J 29 GB 1561 carrying marble overturned, fatally trampling Isita Adhikari (4) and Nishant Adhikari (4) and eight-year-old Riha Khawas of Budhiganga Rural Municipality.

Meanwhile, 60-year-old Jyoti Adhikari was injured in the incident and currently undergoing treatment at the Birat Teaching Hospital, police said.

DSP Dahal said that police have arrested the lorry driver for investigation.
