2 killed, 4 injured in Bara truck-Bolero jeep collision

HETAUDA: Two persons died and four others were injured when a truck and Bolero jeep collided with each other in Bara on Wednesday.

The Bolero jeep (Ba Pra 01-026 Cha 1334) heading towards Pathlaiya from Hetauda collided head-on with the truck (Na 6 Kha 3352) at Adhabar Junglekhanda in Jitpur-Simara-1 this morning.

The deceased have been identified as Sujan Magarati (30) of Colani, Bidur Municipality-9 and Chandan Chauhan (28) of Motihari, India.

DSP Dadhiram Neupane of the District Police Office, Bara said that Rahul Chaudhary of Muzaffarpur, India, Rahul Chauhan and Lakhan Chauhan of Gorakhpur and truck driver Rabi Patel of Paramanipur Rural Municipality-4, Bara were injured in the incident.

Further investigation into the incident is underway, said police.
