Indian national held with 855 grams of gold from TIA

KATHMANDU: Police have arrested an Indian national with 855 grams of gold from the Tribhuvan International Airport.

The arrestee has been identified as Sharif Ahmed Abdul Gaffer (35).

He arrived in Kathmandu on a Fly Dubai flight on Monday night.

Police said that Gaffer was apprehended with the gold during the security check.

He has been handed over to the customs office for further investigation, police said.
