Boxing player found dead in her Bhaktapur house

KATHMANDU: A woman boxing player was found dead in her house in Bhaktapur.

Nita Gosai was found hanging in her three-storey house at around 8 pm on Tuesday.

Family members informed police after they saw her hanging from an iron rod.

Gosai (27) had been playing domestic tournaments from the Armed Police Force (APF).

According to a source, she was getting married on February 14.

The deceased family has filed a complaint against a man for inciting suicide.

The relatives of the deceased claimed that the incident occurred due to his torture.

Police said that they have arrested that person.

Gosai joined the Armed Police Force six years ago.

She had become successful to win a silver medal in the 54-age category.

This was the biggest achievement of her career. She was yet to play the international games.
