More than Rs 30 million recovered from Bomjon’s house

KATHMANDU: Police have recovered more than Rs 30 million from the house of Ram Bahadur Bomjon, the Buddha Boy, who was arrested on the charge of rape and murder, in Budhanilkantha on Tuesday.

It has been learnt that a team of Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) recovered Rs 30. 3 million from the Budhanilkantha-based house of Bomjon.

CIB Chief Kiran Bajracharya said that they have also confiscated undeclared foreign currency from his house.

“Apart from that, 15 mobile sets, laptops and more than 30 pen drives were also recovered from the house of Bomjon,” Bajracharya said.

Bomjon, popularly known as Little Buddha, was nabbed on Tuesday evening.

Police had been searching for him for a long time.
