NA election: Krishna Prasad Sitaula files his nomination

BIRATNAGAR: Nepali Congress former General Secretary Krishna Prasad Sitaula on Monday filed his nomination for the National Assembly election on behalf of the ruling coalition.

He filed his candidacy at the Biratnagar-based Election Commission Office this morning.

Sitaula, who lost to Rastriya Prajatantra Party Chairman Rajendra Lingden from Jhapa constituency 3 in the last election, has again become the candidate in the National Assembly election.

Sitauala, who has become the candidate of the Nepali Congress continuously since 1991, has become the candidate for eight times from Jhapa in the election to the House of Representatives, where he lost for five times.

His nomination was proposed by Pradeep Sunuwar and seconded by Himal Karki.
