Home Minister Shrestha vows to take action against whoever is found guilty in Balkumari incident (With video)

KATHMANDU: Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Narayan Kaji Shrestha has expressed his commitment to take action against whoever is found guilty in the Balkumari incident.

Responding to the questions raised by lawmakers in the meeting of the State Affairs and Good Governance held in Singha Durbar on Monday, he said that the government has formed a high-level probe commission to investigate the incident.

“The government has already formed a probe commission. Those found guilty in the Balkumari incident will be brought to justice. I firmly commit to this,” Minister Shrestha said.

Apart from Rs 1 million, additional financial support will be provided to the families of the deceased, he said.
