Government decides to reduce 68 posts in Prime Minister’s Office

KATHMANDU: The government has decided to restructure the Prime Minister’s Office.

A Cabinet meeting held on Thursday made the decision to this effect, government spokesperson Rekha Sharma said.

“The 68 positions of the Prime Minister’s Office will be eliminated outright. Those working at the Prime Minister’s Office will be relocated to other offices,” she said.

While addressing the nation on the occasion of the completion of one year in office on Tuesday, Prime Minister Dahal had said that he would soon restructure the Prime Minister’s Office.
