Man staying with woman at Mirchiya hotel dies

JANAKPURDHAM: A man, who was staying with a woman at the Mirchiya-based Okhaldhunge Giri Hotel in Siraha, has died.

The deceased has been identified as Mukesh Prasad Karna (40) of Kalyanpur Municipality-2, Siraha.

He had reached the hotel with a woman today itself.

Police said that Karna died a few minutes after he reached the hotel room.

Hotel owner along with others rescued him immediately and took him to a nearby health facility after the woman informed them about his condition.

He breathed his last during the course of treatment, police said.

Police, however, have not disclosed the identity of the woman who had gone to the hotel with Karna.

DSP Jitendra Basnet of the Area Police Office, Mirchiya said that they have the woman under control for investigation.
