Two killed as bus hits motorbike in Sindhuli

MANTHALI: Two persons died when a bus hit a motorbike they were riding on at Boharetar of Sunkoshi Rural Municipality-3, Sindhuli on Monday.

The deceased have been identified as bike rider Kumar Rai of Tuwachung Municipality-2, Khotang and pillion rider Munakala Rai (18) of Diktel Municipality-10, Khotang.

The bus (Bagmati Province 01-006 Kha 4593) heading towards Kathmandu from Manthali of Ramechhap hit the motorbike (Ba 60 Pa 3545) this morning.

Police have taken bus driver Rupesh Adhikari (24) of Phulasi, Manthali Municipality-13, under control and initiated necessary investigation, the District Police Office, Sindhuli said.
