Unidentified persons torch vehicle of Gaushala Municipality Deputy Chief Mahato

JANAKPURDHAM: A group of unidentified persons torched the vehicle of Mahottari Gaushala Municipality Deputy Chief Renu Kumari Mahato on Sunday.

They set the vehicle (Pradesh 2-002-001 Jha 0005) on fire parked outside the house of Mahato at Ramnagar in Gaushala Municipality-1 at around 2 am today.

The vehicle was partially damaged in the arson, DSP Dilip Kumar Giri, spokesperson at the District Police Office, Mahottari, said.

He said that they are searching for the persons involved in torching the vehicle of Deputy Mayor Mahato.

She was elected as the Deputy Chief from Janata Samajbadi Party.
