PM Dahal warns ministers of taking ‘bold step’ if not moved ahead with concrete action plan

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal said that he has directed the ministers to move ahead with a concrete action plan.

Dissatisfied with the performance of the ministers a year after the formation of the government, the Prime Minister during the party’s office bearers’ meeting said that he would take a ‘bold step’ if the ministers did not move forward with the solid action plan.

“I have told all to go into action with a concrete action plan. Otherwise, I will take a bold step,” party spokesperson Agni Sapkota said as Prime Minister Dahal saying.

He said that the meeting, however, did not discuss concretely about the reshuffling of the Cabinet.

“The government is completing a year on December 26. The Prime Minister will bring a progress report and future plannings on December 27. The government is being reviewed in various ways,” Sapkota said.

During the meeting, Prime Minister Dahal said that significant changes should be made in the policies and programmes to make the government effective.

Sapkota said that the Prime Minister told him that he is planning to open a new file by giving continuity to his anti-corruption campaign.
