Bipin Joshi is under the control of Hamas: Embassy

KATHMANDU: The Nepali Embassy in Israel confirmed that Bipin Joshi is under the control of Hamas militants.

The Israeli Defence Force has informed that Joshi was among the hostages taken to Gaza by the Palestinian Islamist group Hamas, the Embassy said.

Issuing a statement on Monday, the Embassy said that Joshi’s condition has not been established yet.

“The latest condition of Joshi has not been known. He is still out of contact and search for him is underway,” according to the statement.
