President Paudel in Gaurighat to perform Chhath Puja (With photos)

KATHMANDU: President Ram Chandra Paudel has reached Gaurighat on the occasion of Chhath festival.

The President offered puja at Chhati Mai prepared at Guheshwori.

Prior to him, Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor Balen Shah had also reached Gaurighat.

There is a tradition of worshipping the setting and rising sun during the Chhath festival.
