Half dozen writs filed at SC against TikTok ban, first hearing scheduled for Monday

KATHMANDU: Six writs have been filed at the Supreme Court against the government’s decision to ban TikTok on the first day of the opening of the office after Tihar holiday.

Advocates Dinesh Tripathi, Swagat Nepal and Jagannath Dulal among others filed the writs today.

Saying that the government’s decision was unconstitutional, they have demanded that the court overturn the decision.

The first hearing of the writs filed against the government’s decision to ban the social media platform has been scheduled for Monday.
