Five members of a family of Surkhet die as truck hits motorbike in India

SURKHET: Five members of a single family of Amaltar Chaukune Rural Municipality-7, Surkhet died when a truck hit a motorbike they were riding on at Ajalpur Taluka in Gulbarga City of Karnataka, India on Friday.

The deceased have been identified as Ratan Newar (27), his wife Asmita Newar (25), five-year-old son Milan, one-and-half-year son Dhadkan Newar and sister-in-law Susmita Newar, Chaukuna Rural Municipality Chairman Khadka Bishwokarma said.

He said that they got the information that the loaded truck hit the motorbike from behind.

Bishwokarma said that the relatives are making preparations to receive the bodies.
