Manang Air helicopter crash: Pilot Prakash Sedhai succumbs to injuries

KATHMANDU: Manang Air pilot Prakash Sedhai, who was seriously injured in the helicopter crash, died in the course of treatment at the National Burn Centre in Mumbai, India on Tuesday.

A chopper Sedhai was flying crashed in Solukhumbu at 7:13 am on October 14. Pilot Sedhai was critically injured in the incident.

Sedhai, who was rushed to the HAMS Hospital in Kathmandu, was taken to Mumbai after he could not be treated there.

He died during the course of treatment at the National Burn Centre in Mumbai on Tuesday, according to a statement issued by the Manang Air.
