Nepali cricket team announced for T20 International Triangular Series

KATHMANDU: A Nepali squad has been announced for the T20 International Triangular Series.

The UAE and Hong Kong are also playing the series scheduled to start in Kathmandu from Wednesday.

Nepali are organizing the series as a preparation for the World Cup Qualifiers.

Lalit Rajbansi has returned to the 18-member team. He was injured earlier.

The team led by Rohit Paudel consists of Sompal Kami, Karan KC, Sandeep Jora, Kushal Bhurtel, Kushal Malla, Binod Bhandari, Sagar Dhakal, Lokesh Bam, Surya Tamang, Shyam Dhakal, Pratish Joshi, Dipendra Singh Airee and Asif Sheikh, Gulsan Jha, Bibek Yadav and Abhinas Bohara.

Sandeep Lamichhane has not been included in the team.

Earlier on October 13, he withdrew his name from the upcoming T20 International Triangular Series saying to revitalise himself.
