Nepal Airlines plane to leave for Israel tonight will not bring bodies of 10 Nepali students: Foreign Ministry

KATHMANDU: The government has said that the Nepal Airlines aircraft to leave Nepal for Israel tonight will not be able to bring the bodies of 10 Nepali students killed in the deadly attack by Hamas militants.

“Israel is at war and we have got information that the separate protocols required to bring the bodies cannot be fulfilled at this moment,” Foreign Ministry spokesperson Sewa Lamsal said.

Organising a press conference in the Ministry on Wednesday, she urged the victims’ families to understand the compulsion.
