Teenage girl found dead in Sundhara guest house

KATHMANDU: A teenage girl was found dead at a guest house in Sundhara, Kathmandu.

The deceased has been identified as Nita Raut of Imadole, Lalitpur.

Police have also recovered a bottle of poison from the incident site.

According to police, she had been staying in the Shreeguru Guest House since September 25.

During the interrogation, her boyfriend said that he had gone outside the guest house on Sunday to manage some money.  When he came back on Monday morning, she was lying dead in the room, he said.

The body has been sent to the Maharajgunj-based Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH).
