Bomb explodes in Dang

RUPANDEHI: A bomb exploded along the East-West Highway on Saturday.

According to DSP Narayan Dangi, spokesperson at the District Police Office, Banke, the bomb exploded at Nayagaun in Rapti Sonari Rural Municipality-8 of Dang last night.

He said that the bomb might have been hidden there during the insurgency period.

“The bomb might have been hidden during the insurgency period. There is no damage to the human lives and property,” DSP Dangi said, adding, “While investigating the incident, we have found no one planted the bomb.”
