Process of forming high-level probe commission has moved ahead after CIB’s investigation: PM

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that the process of forming a high-level probe commission has started to investigate the gold smuggling case.

Addressing the Parliament meeting on Friday, he said, “The CIB has submitted a report by completing the investigation into the gold smuggling case. The process of forming a high-level probe commission has moved ahead as per the agreement reached earlier.”

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Dahal said that the government has taken the attack on Nepali Congress leader Mahendra Yadav seriously.

He said that the government is committed to prevent such incidents from happening again.
