Nembang’s body to be taken to party office from hospital with state honours

KATHMANDU: An emergency meeting of the Council of Ministers has been called after the death of CPN-UML Vice-Chairman Subash Nembang.

The meeting to be held shortly will decide to take the body of Nembang from the Maharajgunj-based Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital to the party office for final tributes with state honours.

Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Narayan Kaji Shrestha had reached the hospital a while ago and urged not to take the body to the party office immediately.

The UML Vice-Chairman breathed his last on the way to the hospital after he suffered a heart attack on Tuesday.
