Nembang to be cremated with state honours, govt announces public holiday (With video)

KATHMANDU: Constituent Assembly member and CPN-UML Vice-Chairman Subash Chandra Nembang will be cremated with state honours.

An emergency Cabinet meeting held on Tuesday decided to cremate Nembang with state honours and also to give a public holiday the same day.

Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Sudan Kiranti said that the meeting has decided to give public holiday the day when the last rites will be performed after his sons come from abroad.

House of Representatives’ member Nembang, who was elected from Ilam-2, died due to heart attack in Kathmandu on Tuesday.
