Man jumps off sixth floor of Bir Hospital, dies

KATHMANDU: A man committed suicide by jumping off the building of the Bir Hospital in Kathmandu.

According to a preliminary investigation, the man, who appeared to be in his mid-30s, jumped off the sixth floor of the hospital on Saturday.

Metropolitan Police Range, Kathmandu spokesperson Kumod Dhungel said that he died during the course of treatment.

The identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained.
