Asia Cup: Nepal set 231-run target against India

KATHMANDU: Nepal have set a target of 231 runs against India in the Asia Cup on Monday.

Nepal, who were invited to bat first after losing the toss, scored 230 runs in 48.2 overs.

Asif Sheikh scored 58 runs off 97 balls hitting eight fours while Sompal Kami and Kushal Bhurtel contributed 48 off 56 balls with two sixes and one four, 38 of 25 balls hitting two boundaries and two fours respectively for Nepal.

Similarly, Dipendra Singh Aire scored 29 runs and Gulsan Jha made 23 runs.

Mohammad Siraj and Rabindra Jadeja took three wickets each.

Likewise, Mohammad Sami, Hardik Pandya, and Sardul Thakur claimed one wicket each.
