Socialist Front holding assembly in Butwal today

KATHMANDU: The Socialist Front is holding an assembly in Butwal on Tuesday.

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal along with top leaders of four parties affiliated to the Front will address the assembly.

Prime Minister and CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman Dahal, CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman and former prime minister Madhav Nepal, Nepal Communist Party General Secretary Netra Bikram Chand (Biplav) and Janata Samajbadi Party’s Central Council member and Province In-charge Raj Kishor Yadav among others will address the program to be held at the Butwan-based International Conference Centre at 1 pm today, Janata Samajbadi Party leader Manikar Karki said.

Raj Kishor Yadav will attend the program as JSP Chairman Upendra Yadav is currently on India visit.

According to leaders, Madhav Nepal and Raj Kishor will come at 10 am while Prime Minister Dahal is scheduled to come at 1 pm.

Biplav is scheduled to come earlier than other leaders.

The Front, which had decided to hold assemblies in all the provinces, has already announced to hold the program in Birgunj of Madhes Pradesh on September 4.

A meeting of the Front had already decided to hold assemblies in Butwal on August 29, Dhangadhi of Sudurpaschim on August 30, Surkhet of Karnali on August 31, Pokhara of Gandaki on September 1, Hetauda of Bagmati on September 9, Biratnagar of Koshi September 11.
