HoR meeting postponed for Tuesday

KATHMANDU: A meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR), scheduled for today, has been postponed to Monday.

According to Speaker’s Secretariat, the meeting has been adjourned until 1 PM tomorrow.

The main opposition CPN-UML has been demanding the formation of a high-level investigation committee to look into the recent 100 kg gold smuggling case. They have also alleged the Home Minister’s involvement in this case and demanded his resignation.

UML parliamentarians have taken a stand that they will not allow the House meeting to proceed until their demands are met.
