1 killed, 13 injured in Panchthar road accident

PANCHTHAR: A person died and 13 others were injured when a taxi met with an accident today near Krishna Temple of Phidim municipality-2 in Panchthar.

According to police inspector Milan Thapa, the taxi with the registration number plate (Me 1 Ja 1941) fell some 200 meters down the road as it was en route to Phidim from Birtamod in Jhapa.

The driver reportedly lost control over the vehicle and it resulted in the accident. The identity of the deceased is yet to be established. RSS
