SC seeks written response from KMC Mayor Balen Shah in contempt of court case

KATHMANDU: The Supreme Court (SC) on Tuesday sought a written clarification from Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) Mayor Balendra Shah on a contempt of court case filed against him.

A single bench of Justice Til Prasad Shrestha, after a preliminary hearing on the application today, ordered Shah to provide a written response to the court.

Earlier on Sunday, Advocate Barsha Kumari Jha filed a contempt of court application against Shah at the apex court
