Govt declares public holiday on Thursday for Bakra Eid

KATHMANDU: The government has decided to give a public holiday on June 29  on the occasion of the Bakra Eid, also known as Eid al-Adha.

The Ministry of Home Affairs, issuing a notice on Tuesday, announced a public holiday o on the occasion of the festival.

As the Ministry Spokesperson Kedarnath Sharma said, the decision to give a public holiday on Baker Eid was taken as per the notice issued in the Nepal Gazette on March 16.
