Bajhang accident: Four, including Sudurpaschim Province minister, critically injured

KAILALI: At least four persons including Minister of Home Affairs and Law Prithvi Bahadur Singh of Sudurpaschim Province have been critically injured in a road accident that took place in Bajhang on Tuesday.

The vehicle having registration number (Su Pa Pra 01001 Jha 480) fell some 50 meters down the road today afternoon.

The accident took place in the Kedar-Syun Rural Municipality of the district.

According to the District Police Office, Bajhang, the vehicle was heading toward Bajhang from Dadeldhura when the incident occurred.

Among the injured, three except the driver of the vehicle are in critical condition, Satya Kumari Joshi, Assistant Chief District Officer of the district, said.

Preparations are being made to take the injured to Nepalgunj via helicopter for further treatment, Joshi said.

A total of five persons were on board the four-wheeler.
