House meeting postponed for Monday

KATHMANDU: The House of Representatives (HoR) meeting, which was put off for some moments today following the obstruction of the opposition parties, has been postponed for Monday.

Issuing a notice, the Secretary of the Federal Parliament Secretariat Padma Prasad Pandey said that the meeting has been scheduled to be held tomorrow at 11 pm.

The meeting of the House was postponed today after the UML, Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) and the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) lawmakers protested demanding discussions on the certification of the Citizenship Bill and on Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal’s India visit in the House.
