Dhading : Mother and son die after falling off cliff

KATHMANDU: A woman and her son died after falling off a cliff in Dhading on Monday.

The deceased have been identified as Apsara Chepang (19) of Benighat Rorang Rural Municipality-2 and her two-year son Sajan.

The incident took place when Apsara, who was carrying her son on her back, went to the forest near her home to collect grass and fell off the cliff. said Gautam Mishra, Chief of the District Police Office, Dhading.

Critically injured in the incident both the mother and son died in the course of treatment at Malekhu Teaching Hospital, said police.
