Inspector Nabin Thapa thrashes JSP district Chairman Kedar Prasad Yadav

JANAKPURDHAM: Janata Samajbadi Party district chairman Kedar Prasad Yadav was beaten up by the police at the District Police Office in Rajbiraj of Saptari.

A meeting was held at the District Police Office to discuss an issue of Mahadev Rural Municipality.

Janata Samajbadi Party district chairman Yadav was also in the meeting.

After a debate ensued, police Inspector Nabin Thapa thrashed him.

Yadav, who sustained injuries on his head, has been taken to the Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital in Rajbiraj for treatment.

Following the incident, the JSP cadres have staged a demonstration demanding action against Inspector Thapa.
