Nepal’s population reaches 29,164,578

KATHMANDU: The Central Bureau of Statistics made public the complete details of the 12th National Census 2078 on Friday.

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal unveiled the details amidst a programme today.

According to the details made public this afternoon, the population of Nepal is 29,164,578.

The population of Nepal in 2068 was 26, 494, 000.

The details said that the population of male is 14,253,551 (48.98 percent) and the female is 14,911,027.

According to the preliminary results made public on January 26, 2022, the population of Nepal was 29,192,480.

Deputy Chief at the Central Bureau of Statistics Hemraj Regmi said that the population has decreased by around 27, 000 than the preliminary details.
