1 killed, 1 injured in Koteshwor motorbike accident

KATHMANDU: A person was killed in a motorcycle accident at Koteshwor, Kathmandu on Monday.

Police identified the deceased as 42-year-old Madhukar Bala of Tathali, Changunarayan Municipality-5, Bhaktapur.

Bala was critically injured when the motorcycle (registration no. Pra 3-02-009 Pa 7006) he was riding in met with an accident after he lost control of it last night.

He died while undergoing treatment at Kathmandu Medical College in Sinamangal.

A woman was also injured during the incident. She is being treated in the same hospital, police said.
