Case filed against five Nepalis in spot fixing

KATHMANDU: A case has been filed against only five people on the charge of spot fixing.

The Kathmandu District Attorney Office registered the case in the district court on Monday.

The case was lodged against players Mehbob Alam, Adil Ansari, Nitesh Shah, Nabin Kandel and Rabi Majhi.

Kandel and Majhi are on the run.

The District Attorney’s Office said that another case will be filed in the case of foreign nationals if their identities are disclosed or if they are arrested in Nepal.
