UML Chair Oli urges RSP to join government again

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML has urged the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) to join the government again.

One of the agendas of the meeting of the high-level political mechanism held in Baluwatar on Friday was to bring the RSP back in the government, a leader, who attended the meeting, said.

But, the response of the party President Rabi Lamichhane has not been made public.

Though the RSP has left the government, it has not withdrawn the support extended to the government.

CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli, Rastriya Swatantra Party President Lamichhane and Rastriya Prajatantra Party Chairman Rajendra Lingden were present in the meeting.

It has been learnt that the meeting also discussed the presidential election among others.
