Kamal Bahadur Shah of NC appointed Sudurpaschim Chief Minister

KATHMANDU: Kamal Bahadur Shah, parliamentary party leader of the Nepali Congress (NC) of Sudurpaschim Province, has been appointed as the Chief Minister of the province on Thursday.

Shah was appointed the Chief Minister after CPN-UML’s Rajendra Singh Rawal failed to secure a vote of confidence today.

Province chief Dev Raj Joshi appointed Shah the Chief Minister this evening.

Shah will take the oath of office and secrecy tomorrow, informed the office of the Province Chief, Sudurpaschim.
