Urmila Aryal elected NA Vice-Chair unopposed

KATHMANDU: CPN (Maoist Centre) lawmaker Urmila Aryal has been elected as Vice-Chairperson of the National Assembly unopposed.

As no other candidates filed nominations for the post of National Assembly Vice-Chairperson within the given time, Chairperson Ganesh Timilsina, during a National Assembly meeting held on Monday, announced that Aryal was elected unopposed.

The National Assembly got the Vice-Chairperson after a year.
