Nagarik Unmukti Party lawmaker Arun Kumar Chaudhary arrested

RUPANDEHI:  Police on Thursday arrested Nagarik Unmukti Party lawmaker Arun Kumar Chaudhary from Tikapur, Kailali.

Chaudhary, who was on the fugitive list of police, was apprehended this afternoon, Nepal Police spokesperson Deputy Inspector General of Police Posharaj Pokharel said.

He will be taken to the Dhangadhi District Court on Friday.

Chaudhary was elected as a member of the House of Representatives from Kailali-2.

Earlier, Chaudhary along with two others were sentenced to six months in jail for arson.
