Bus hit kills 8yo girl in Bhakundebesi, Irate locals set bus on fire

KATHMANDU: An eight-year-old girl died after being hit by a bus in Bhakundebesi on Thursday.

The bus (BA 2 Kha 7342) was heading towards Kharpa Chowk from Banepa when the incident took place this afternoon.

Police are investigating the case, Chakra Raj Joshi, Chief at the District Police Office, Kavre, said.

Meanwhile, irate locals have set the bus on fire.
