Youths take to streets demanding justice to Prem Prasad Acharya

KATHMANDU: Youths have taken to the streets demanding justice to Prem Prasad Acharya of Ilam, who immolated himself in front of the Parliament building on Tuesday.

They have claimed that it was not suicide but a murder.

Saying that all should be united against corruption, the demonstrators have piled pressure on the government to fulfill the demands of Acharya.

Acharya (36), who attempted self-immolation in front of the Parliament building, was rescued immediately and rushed to the Kirtipur-based Hospital. But, he breathed his last during the course of treatment this morning.
